Muzukijima is in the eastern Kutsuna Islands. It flourished through peddling and mandarins. This beautiful island has blue seas and streets of gated houses.

About Muzukijima Island

Located next to Nakajima Island to the east, the east side offers views of Nogutsunajima Island. The whole island is covered in citrus such as mandarins and iyokan. There's a village close to the port, and in the lanes are traditional houses with magnificent gated entranceways. There are two mountains, Oritateyama to the west, and Takamatsuyama to the east. The path around them is called Muzuki Skyline, and it's one of the best walking routes of the Kutsuna Islands. It offers about 15 km of superb sea and mountain views.
