As a base to promote floriculture in Ehime Prefecture in flower farming and to promote gardening and landscaping in everyday life, the institute has opened its facility to help the public from cultivation to consumption of flowers. Each year we run Ehime Flower Festival for 2 days on May 3rd and 4th as part of our promotional activities. Also, the center occasionally holds flower gardening classes as well as technical training.
We have various plants cultured and displayed in the 9 exhibition greenhouses. Numerous blossoms paint colors in spring. We also have many visitors in May when the Ehime Flower Festival is held. There are the floral clock and the 3D flower beds where the color changes according to the season and the flowers.
"Floral clock and the 3D flower beds are particularly beautiful in spring."

Located in the Saragamine Mountain Range Prefectural Natural Park, the falls make a vertical drop of 96 m. Passing through the Omotegawa Shiraigoe-no-Tani, which is upstream of the Shigenobu River, the water makes magnificent falls. Through the year, visitors will enjoy the magnificence of the falls.
On the passage to the waterfalls, a naturally cool breeze blows in summer, which will delight visitors. Each year on November 3rd, there is the Shirai-no-Taki Festival, which draws countless crowds that gather to view autumn foliage. When severely cold days last in winter, the water freezes on the falls, making a piece of extraordinary ice sculpture.
"In wintertime, visitors are urged to use caution as the road could be icy on the way."

Located within the Saragamine Mountain Range Prefectural Park, the valley has numerous natural wonders such as a peculiarly shaped rock face that the water has eroded over the years, a 1 km long monolithic bed of rock of the river called Namera*, and the Giant's Kettles in the river bed.
*A kind of snake that belongs to the species Colubridae, whose skin is extremely smooth.
In the valley, a number of spots have names related to dragons. The rockface on the side of the valley is called Dragon's Belly, and the waterfall at the far end of the trail is called the Dragon-at-the-Back. Some of the attractions visitors can expect include: a water slide at the river bed in summer, a walk on the waterfront overlooking foliage in autumn, and snow covered scenery and wondrous frozen sculptures that the waterfall makes in winter.

Shiraito-no-Taki(White-Thread Falls)
Visitors can have seasonal views throughout the year; there is a pleasant mountain stream and the breeze in spring and summer, spectacular foliage in autumn, and sublime beauty in winter when the waterfall freezes in its entirety. Autumn, in particular, is magnificent when the fallen leaves make an enormous red carpet where visitors can have a stroll.
Kaza-ana,Kamihayashi Shinrin Park
The park is located at the starting point to climb Saragamine. There are three areas: Mizu-no-Mori (forest of water), Hikari-no-Mori (forest of light), and Kaze-no-Mori (forest of wind). Nagashi (flowing) somen is served seasonally and for a fee in Mizu-no-Mori. There is a camping ground in Hikari-no-Mori, and visitors can have a rest watching the Kaza-ana (hole in the ground) in Kaze-no-Mori.
Kawauchi Park
The park is located near a residential area. Within the Fukiageike Pond is an island on which there are old pine trees that appear to be people embracing each other. From the park to the island there is a bridge with red railings.
