This is the first permanent theater established in the western part of Japan as a means of disseminating regional culture. We hold dear a sense of unity with the audience. From the first musical performance of "Botchan" to the most recent show, our performances have taken the historical and cultural traditions of Ehime Prefecture as their motif.
The theatre is designed so the audience will get the best acoustics regardless of the seating within the theatre. Actors will be at the hallway to meet with the audience after the performance for photographs, handshakes, and so on.
"The program changes throughout the year."
"The shows are becoming larger in scale, so we are doing our best to make the stage look larger than its actual size."
