Tagamisan is on the western edge of the Saragamine mountain range. Together with Otani-ike Pond, it has been designated as one of the 100 scenic natural sites of Shikoku. Visitors can see islands on the Iyo Sea from the lookout point of the mountain top, where there is a park. As you proceed from the temple gate, you will find Houshuuji Temple. It is said to have been built in 673, a serene refuge from the noise of the city.
As visitors climb up Tagamisan, there is a lookout point on top of the mountain from where you can see the city. Beneath the lookout point, there is a park with play equipment. It is also a very good cheery blossom viewing point in spring time, where the whole family can have a good time. As you go through the gate on top of the mountain, Houshuuji Temple stands in a quiet hiding place, where visitors can find peace of mind in the heart of the mountain.

A scenic site where visitors can view Iyo Sea from the platform with a beautiful sun set, the station has been used in numerous movies or TV dramas. A photograph of the station was used in the poster to advertise Japan Railway's Seishun 18 Ticket campaign.

A restaurant located in Futami Seaside Park, on the 2nd floor of the speciality food center. Some of our recommended dishes are: the Uwajima Style Tai-meshi (rice cooked with sea bream sashimi) called "Yuhi-don (Sunset bowl)", "Satsuma jiru teishoku (combo set)" which is popular in summer time, and "Kamaage shirasu don" which is served between June to August depending on the fish catch of the year. Other than the above, we also carry ever-popular menu items such as curry and rice, and Udon. There is also terrace seating, where the customers can have food and drinks as they watch the sunset and the ocean.
This is a restaurant where you can have a dining experience watching the sunset from the location selected as "one of the 100 best sites for viewing sunsets". Our recommended menu, Yuhi-don (Sunset bowl) is Tai-meshi, with which we attempted to replicate the sunset by putting egg together with sea bream sashimi on rice. We also have various other dishes so that you can have a taste of our harvest from the sea.
"Kamaage shirasu don is also recommended, as it is a "one-coin (500 yen)" dish."
